1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Pangat platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pangat provides restaurant management tools including:

• Point of Sale (POS) billing system
• Kitchen Display System (KDS)
• QR-based digital menu and ordering for customers
• Table management and floor planning
• Inventory and stock management
• Staff management with role-based access
• Customer loyalty program
• Invoice generation and BillTick GST sync
• Reports and business analytics

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid WhatsApp-enabled phone number to register.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One phone number may be associated with one owner account. Staff accounts are created by the owner.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity or fraudulent billing.
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the software.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
• Overload or disrupt the Service infrastructure.

5. Data Ownership

• You retain ownership of all business data you enter into Pangat (menus, orders, bills, customer records).
• We are granted a limited license to process and store this data to provide the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter.

6. Billing & Payments

• Core features of Pangat are currently offered free of charge.
• We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or premium features in the future with prior notice.
• Pangat is a billing tool — we do not process payments between you and your customers. Payment collection is handled by your own payment systems.

7. BillTick Integration

• When you enable BillTick sync, your invoice data is transmitted to BillTick for GST-compliant record keeping.
• You are responsible for providing the correct BillTick API key and ensuring your GST details are accurate.
• Sync failures do not affect your ability to continue billing on Pangat.

8. Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
• Pangat supports offline mode — orders and KOTs can be created offline and synced when connectivity is restored.
• We may perform maintenance with advance notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Pangat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any loss of revenue, data, or business arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be retained for the legally required period (tax records) and then deleted.

11. Intellectual Property

The Pangat name, logo, software, and design are the intellectual property of Softweirdo Solutions. You may not use our branding without written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gujarat, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
